Savary Island Resort is off-grid, and is completely run using solar power, as well as a diesel generator.

In order to conserve precious energy, please be conscious of your power usage, for example do not leave lights on when not in rooms. 

Furthermore, we request guests do not bring anything with a heating element, such as a crock pots, hair straighteners, hair blow-dryers, etc.

We have a 3 night minimum per booking.

There is a 10% discount for bookings that are 7 days long or more.

Your deposit is 100% refundable for up to 6 weeks notice after booking. After 6 weeks, the 30% deposit is non-refundable.

You are then required to pay the remainder of the balance 4 weeks before arrival.

The remainder is only 100% refundable if governments report that travel is BANNED (not discouraged) due to COVID restrictions for up to 1 weeks notice before check in.

Your credit card information is required upon arrival and will be charged if there has been any damage upon inspection of the property. The charged amount will be decided upon inspection of damage.

Guests need to provide their own bed linen for the Bunkhouse. There is a queen and two twins in each of the 4 bunk houses. We provide the duvets and pillows, and guests will need to bring their own pillow cases, and top sheet / bottom sheet, or a sleeping bag. Bath towels are not provided in the Bunk house suites.

Main lodge sumptuous suites: All linens and bath towels for the sumptuous suites are provided. We provide bath towels, please bring your own beach towels.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times when on the Resort.

There is a maximum of two dogs allowed on the property. Please clean up after your pets, both inside and outside.

Pets are not allowed in the upstairs suites.

Do not leave your pet unattended in any of the rooms at anytime.

Guests are responsible for damage caused to the rooms or property by their pet and will be charged for such damage.

Out of respect for the island we ask that quiet time be by 1am.

All of our buildings and decks are non-smoking.

Please smoke at the outdoor fire pit.

No candles allowed on the property whatsoever.

We encourage guests to bring bicycles. Alternatively you can rent bikes from the bike shop on island, please reach out directly to him on +1 604 483 7771 (open July and August only) to organize.

Please cook shellfish only in the open fire pit with the firewood provided.

No shellfish on BBQ please.

Note that there may be a fire ban during your stay.

Take back what you take on the island. There is no trash disposal on island. You are welcome to leave your trash with us at 60$ per bag fee.

Toilet paper only down the toilets please. Do not put coffee grinds or ANY food waste down drains.

Use the compost bins provided.

There is green bin that is used for the compost when the small compost bins inside are full.

Savary Island has a strict yearly fire ban that permits any kind of backyard fires in the months of July, August and September. The fire ban may be extended weather permitting.
